The Black Penny Society is an immersive Peaky Blinders-inspired experience built around the world of bookmakers, horse racing, boxing matches, period gambling games, live entertainment, The Garrison Bar, and much more.

Price: From 4,900€ per group *

Duration: From 3 to 6 hours

Location: An industrial factory space transformed into the underworld of 1920s Birmingham.

Group size: 20 to 60 ppl

Minimum group size: * The minimum booking is 4,900€ for a 3-hour experience with up to 20 guests. Each additional guest is 100€ per person, up to a maximum of 60 guests, reducing the effective price from 245€ to as low as 148€ per person. Additional event time is available for 500€ per hour. Black Penny Society follows a fixed format with fixed inclusions. Pricing depends only on the number of participants and the chosen event duration.

Note: Period-inspired dress is mandatory and forms an essential part of the experience.

Is gambling experience required?

Not at all. The Black Penny Society is designed for entertainment first, with simple games and hosts guiding the experience throughout the evening. Most games take less than a minute to learn.

Is the dress code mandatory?

Yes. The dress code is an important part of the experience and helps bring the atmosphere of 1920s Birmingham to life.

Gentlemen are expected to wear a suit, shirt, and tie. Ladies may choose elegant period-inspired attire, a black dress, or embrace the bookmaker culture with tailored trousers, shirt, tie, and waistcoat inspired by the women of the era, including the infamous Forty Elephants.

Every guest receives a Peaky-style flat cap on arrival.

Can drinks be arranged as an open bar?

Yes. The Garrison Bar can operate as a cash bar, prepaid drinks package, or fully hosted open bar depending on the preferences and budget of your group.
